Ingredients
Batter:
- ⅔ c Crisco
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c milk
- 3 c flour
- 3 t baking powder
- 1 t salt
- ½ t nutmeg
Topping:
- 2 T butter, melted
- ½ c sugar
- Ground cinnamon, to taste
Prep/Equipment
- Medium bowl
- Whisk
- Muffin pan
- Muffin paper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Place all ingredients in medium bowl. Mix by hand.
- Bake in muffin tins for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from pans. Dip immediately in butter, then in cinnamon sugar mixture.
