Dip for Vegetables

Serving Suggestion

Serve with raw vegetables – carrots, celery, broccoli, or cauliflower

Time

Prep: 10 minutes              Ready In: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 2 jars Kraft garlic or Old English cheese

Prep/Equipment

  • Medium serving bowl

Directions

  1. Heat cream of celery soup. Melt cheese into soup.  Place in serving bowl.

Hot Hors D’oeuvres

Serving Suggestion

Serve with corn chips or potato chips.

Time

Prep: 5 minutes                                Ready In: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
  • 2 T milk
  • 3 ounce package chipped beef, chopped finely
  • 2 T minced onion
  • 2 T chopped green pepper
  • Dash of pepper
  • ½ pt. sour ½ & ½
  • ¼ c walnuts or pecans

Prep/Equipment

  • 8” pie pan

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Mix all ingredients sans walnuts/pecans. Spoon into 8” pie pan.  Sprinkle with walnuts/pecans.
  3. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes prior to serving.

Notes/Suggestion

This reheats well!

Cheese Dip and Tortilla Chips

Serving Suggestions

Place in a serving bowl, surrounded by tortilla chips.

Prep: 10 minutes              Ready In: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Velveeta American cheese
  • 1 small tomato, chopped
  • 1 can Ro-Tel, drained
  • 2 cans chopped green chilies, drained

Prep/Equipment

  • 1 large bowl

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, melt Velveeta cheese (instructions on the box).
  2. Mix the Ro-Tel, tomato, and chilies in with the melted cheese.
